BowerPrivacy policy
Bower is a private space for two. Here’s what we collect, how it’s protected, and the control you have.
Who we are
Bower is made by DEEPSOLVE PTY LTD (ABN 60 700 202 893), Australia. Bower is listed on the App Store as DeepSolve while the new name rolls out. This policy covers the Bower app and this website.
You own your data
Everything you and your partner create (messages, reminders, money entries and memories) belongs to you. We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers, and we don’t use it to build advertising profiles of you.
Delete it anytime
You can disconnect from your partner at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and all associated data by emailing hello@deepsolve.xyz. Once deleted, it’s removed from our systems and can’t be recovered. Signing out also clears data cached on your device.
How your data is protected
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest on our servers. Your couple space is private to you and your linked partner: row-level security means no other user can read your space. This is not end-to-end encryption. Our backend processes your data to provide the service.
The AI assistant
When you ask the in-chat assistant a question, the information needed to answer (such as your money, reminders, memories and recent messages in that chat) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a reply. Voice questions are transcribed on your device first. Your data is used only to respond to you, never to train models or for advertising.
What we collect
Your account details (for example, name and email from sign-in), the content you create in the app, and basic technical data needed to run the service reliably. We ask for access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, speech recognition, location and notifications only for the features you choose to use:
- Contacts: to find a partner who’s already on Bower.
- Photos and camera: to share in chat, reminders and memories.
- Microphone and speech recognition: for voice messages and questions to the assistant.
- Location: to place memories on your couple map.
- Notifications: for reminders and partner activity.
Storage and processors
We use Supabase (database, storage and sign-in) to operate the service and Anthropic to power the assistant. Data is processed only to provide Bower.
This website
This site has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking cookies. It’s hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, and it loads fonts from Google Fonts.
